JOB TITLE: Hudson Associate 3 DEPARTMENT:Hudson

REPORTS TO:Shift Supervisor SHIFT: 3 days per week, 6am to 6pmThur, Fri, Sat

Hourly Rate: $17.04

LOCATION: 8 Industrial Drive Hudson, NH

SUMMARY: Proven ability to drive a propane sit down forklift in a fast pace manufacturing environment. Ability to learn and perform job requirements of a knit machine operator ensuring the production of first quality fabric.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience driving forklift in fast pace manufacturing environment.


• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Physical requirements: lift 30lbs, push 250lbs roll of fabric, pull 50lbs, work 12 - hour shift with extensive standing and walking.


• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Operate propane sit down forklift.


• Maintain knit machine yarn inventory.


• Loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing trailers as needed.


• Ability to operate walk behind electric peg lift for the loading and unloading of knit roll inventory.


• Ability to use scan gun to monitor knit roll inventory location.


• Ability to enter production order numbers into computerized system knit roll packing station.


• Operate a set of raschel knitting machines.


• Patrol knit machines to ensure first quality fabric is produced.


• Repairs yarn breaks.


• Enter daily knit roll production orders into computerized system located on manufacturing floor.


• Maintains a clean work area and observes all safety rules and procedures.


• Responsible for documenting production, quality, and safety.


• Performs other related duties as required or directed by Supervision.
