Process Scientist II for a temporary opportunity with Yoh's client located in Fremont, Ca.

• 1st shift


• Protein Analytical Science


• Hands-on with HPLC, capillary electrophoresis (CE-SDS), and/or imaged capillary isoelectric focusing (iCIEF).

You'll Be Doing:

• The day to day scientific activities for this position are execution and development of HPLC, CE-SDS, and/or iCIEF analytical methods.


• Activities will also include data review, report writing, and compilation/presentation of analytical data.


• May also include lab experiments and troubleshooting assistance as needed.


• Initiate and complete scientific experiments.


• Independently develop and execute test methods.


• Analyze and critically review analytical data.


• Present analytical results in a clear manner.


• Perform laboratory troubleshooting for technical problems.


• The candidate MUST have recent experience performing analytical testing, experience in protein analytics, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced working environment.


• The candidate MUST have prior hands-on experience with development or troubleshooting of HPLC, capillary electrophoresis (CE-SDS), and/or imaged capillary isoelectric focusing (iCIEF) analytical methods.


• The candidate MUST be proficient in using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.


• Hands-on experience with Waters Empower, Beckman 32Karat, Protein Simple iCIEF software.


• Excellent written and oral communication skills


• Ability to work in a team environment

Education

Bachelors Degree in science with 4+ year of experience in protein analytical science, or MS with 2+ year of experience in protein analytical science.
