Shipping Support at Blusource in Guthrie, Oklahoma

Job Description:

Purpose:

The Shipping Support Team Member is responsible for making all local deliveries and representing Blusource professionally to all customers and partners during delivery. This role also assists the Shipping Team with unloading and loading all shipments and maintaining the cleanliness of the shipping area.

Education, Experience & Proficiencies:

• High School Diploma/GED


• Shipping/logistics experience preferred


• Valid state issued drivers license, Class B CDL license preferred


• No serious traffic violations or accidents while operating a motor vehicle within last 3 years


• No convictions for a DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving alcohol/drugs within last 10 years


• Forklift certified

You Will Be Accountable For:

• Making all local deliveries of Blusource product and providing excellent customer service to our partners.


• Cleaning and maintaining the shipping area/loading dock.


• Preparing orders for shipment by printing and affixing shipping labels.


• Unloading and loading all shipments.


• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and carry 30-50 pounds throughout the workday.


• Tolerate moderate to high noise level in warehouse.


• Vision abilities required are color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.


• Perform steady pace of work while completing repetitive physical movements: stand, kneel, push and pull objects, reaching with hands and arms, etc.


• Ability to work in non-air-conditioned warehouse during the summer with large fans creating moderate air flow.
