Pricing Manager-Field Support at Medline Industries, Inc. in Mundelein, Illinois

Job Description:

Direct the team of analysts and associates dedicated to providing pricing analysis and support to sales reps and managers, sales support staff, product divisions, and operational areas. This team is responsible for executing annual price renewals and other enterprise-wide price changes (ie related to changing costs associated with tariffs, pandemic items, etc). They also conduct analytics on large bids and RFPs, as well as complex price parity groups. Other tasks include executing item conversions and serving as the general resource to answer why and how questions related to pricing processes.

The manager will develop and mentor staff in analytics competency, provide leadership-level status reports on enterprise wide pricing initiatives, and provide input about ongoing process improvement opportunities and potential pricing process enhancements.

• Education - Bachelor's degree.
• Relevant Work Experience - At least 4 years of related pricing or analytics support experience.
• At least 1 year of experience managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing people as they work.
• Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
• Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/ or formatting font).
• SAP experience is beneficial.
