Position Overview

The Sr. Sales Analyst will lead analytics and reporting and is the weekly operations expert for the National Accounts sales team. This role also is integral in developing and assisting the team in maintaining national account business in alignment with the company's strategic objective. The Sr. Sales Analyst will be responsible for spearheading the department in development opportunities in order to meet strategic new business objectives and grow existing customer volume and revenue.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities


  • Provide VP, Director and NAM with consistent and regular analysis of baselines and promotional run rates to guide the NAM sales forecasts.
  • Brand Recaps/Update Database, Item Detail Reporting, Detailed Weekly POS Scorecard Analysis & Reporting, New Item & LTO Trackers (every modular change), Scorecards, Zone Pricing Update, Execution of Trade Strategy & 4Ps, Walmart Scorecards
  • P&L evaluation & monitoring - ensuring Gross Margin and EBITDA targets are being achieved on all National Account Sales initiatives. Proactively provide recommendations to NAM's, VP's and Directors on P&L improvement opportunities
  • Find cost savings & trade spend optimization and savings on a regular basis
  • Leads & owns Walmart sustainability projects internally & requirements from customer
  • Help to identify opportunities to increase volumes and decrease cost to improve ROI of all activities
  • Provide regular guidance and systematic updates to production and sales forecast
  • Lead line review deck/presentation development, distribution recommendations & category insights
  • Build long-term relationship with customers through Category Management and data excellence and trust
  • Performs high level, in depth analyses using Retail Link and syndicated data retrieval and provides conclusions
  • Measure performance and impact of all initiatives
  • Understand and applies Customer, Consumer and Industry insights using Retail Link, IRI & IRI Panel
  • Communicate Walmart & Sam's Club 4P initiatives with the Direct Store Delivery teams
  • Support Walmart.com & Samsclub.com Ecommerce duties
  • Internal Sales & Financial Reporting for all National Accounts
  • Internal Support for Board Meeting Presentations
  • Category Management Projects & Planogram as opportunity arises
  • May be asked to perform additional duties as necessary

Position Requirements


  • Must have a passion for coffee
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required
  • 5+ years' CPG experience required
  • 3-5 years direct sales experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience using Retail Link & Syndicated Data via Nielsen and/or IRI
  • Understanding of Consumer Data via Syndicated Panel, Spectra, dunnhumby etc,
  • Category management experience preferred
  • Valid Driver's license required
