Description


SUMMARY: This position is responsible for implementation and support of audio-visual equipment and event networking services as provided for client events and inter-departmental support. This includes but is not limited to all digital signage, stadium digital displays, wayfinding displays, assisting in sales process of AV services and attending client site-visits, AV services event planning, development, delivery, execution, and support.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Participate in the GSSE event sales process. This includes participating in conference calls, site visits and facility walk-thru with GSSE Sales Managers and prospective clients to discuss AV services capabilities, creative opportunities, and packages for prospective events.


  • Responsible for managing and directing AV Services Department in execution and delivery of Event Technology and AV Services for events as developed and sold through the GSSE sales process and as listed on the Event BEO.


  • Responsible for stadium event based digital signage needs and displays throughout Stadium, supporting multiple departments, i.e., Ribbon Boards, exterior displays, wayfinding displays, HD Boards...etc., for Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Stadium Operations departments.


  • Execute A/V event commitments including scheduling of AV Techs, supervising, and directing set up, operation, execution of services with failsafe redundancy.


  • Develop and maintain standards for proper handling, storage, maintenance, and inventory control of all Event Technology Equipment.


  • Adhere to the customer service standards of Gillette Stadium Special Events Department. Deliver AV services with a customer focused mentality, demonstrating a high level of professionalism at all times while delivering an exceptional guest experience.


  • Research and develop potential expansion of services, equipment required, and revenue and ROI projections.


  • Responsible for meeting budgeted revenue projections and growing revenue by upselling event services, developing additional AV capabilities and staff development.


  • Recruit, hire, schedule and supervise all AV Services Technicians for event AV services.


  • Special projects and assignments as business dictates.


  • Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPPA.

Qualifications

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS



  • Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills with the ability to multi-task.


  • Strong interpersonal coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills.


  • Highly organized and detail oriented.


  • Self-motivated, high degree of initiative, strong work ethic and sense of urgency.


  • High initiative, strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.


  • A flexible work schedule will be required, including evenings and weekends, and some holidays.


  • Highly experienced with AV computer software, audio-visual systems and equipment, and MS Office systems required.


  • 3+ years of AV operational/facility management experience preferred.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, bend and be able to lift 40 pounds.

  • Normal office environment on non-event days and fast-paced on event days.
