Specialist - Controlling at Schaeffler Group in Fort Mill, South Carolina

Job Description:

Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking a Specialist - Controlling for our Fort Mill, SC location. This position is responsible for supporting the Industrial controlling and finance activities within the region. This person will be a key business partner to our senior management in all aspects of financial reporting and analysis as it relates to the Industrial division.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Prepare and develop all actual, budget and forecasting reports for the region related Industrial
• Support project controlling activities such as setting up of new projects, preparing affiliate charge back, monitoring project expenses to support the project management team
• Key role in the preparation of the annual budgeting process including but not limited to, sales planning, project planning, overhead planning, etc.
• Support the preparation of all regional and global business reviews, and other financial meetings
• Maintains effective internal controls to ensure protection of assets and an accurate reporting of financial position
• Supports in preparation of profitability calculations including new business, new investment, and regional footprint activities
• All other tasks required to support the management and internal customers in effective and timely decision making.Qualified candidates will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) years working experience in a similar field
• Strong communication skills to be able to interact with various levels of management on a day-to-day basis
• Ability to work under high pressure while maintaining a strong sense of attention to detail
• Good organizational skills as well as ability to pr
• Must possess well developed problem-solving skills, solid organizational skills and has demonstrated the ability to be self-directed and effectively relate to all levels of an organization
• Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office platforms (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) with advanced knowledge of Excel
• Qualified candidates must have the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Experience with SAP is a plus
• Master's Degree in Business Administration preferred
