Job Description:

Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking motivated Summer Warehouse Temporary for - all skill levels and all shifts - Aftermarket in Valley City, Ohio, 20 miles southwest of Cleveland. The Summer Warehouse Temporary could be responsible for some or all of the tasks listed.

This temporary position is ideal for those looking for work during the summer break! This summer position can earn an incentive payout of $1 per hour worked up to $500 (minimum of 250 worked hours required to qualify for end of summer incentive payment). Program subject to change based on business needs.

The Summer Warehouse Temporary could could be responsible for supplying work cells and customer order processing areas with product to complete work required and meet customer demands. Further task follow.

General Tasks:

• Unpacking of bulk product
• Prepare incoming pallets by cutting open cases, removing trash, and making case boxes
• Packaging of bulk components into finished packaging to be stored / sold
• Pulling of product without the use of motorized equipment
• Data entry into computerized systems
• Effectively communicate problems and issues with management
• Adhere to company safety regulations
• Clean assigned areas daily and abide by 5S standards
• Maintain productivity standards
• Understand the specifications of the Quality Policy and Procedures

Possible Tasks

• Picking of customer orders using motorized equipment (Order Picker) - Training to be provided to operate equipment
• Accurately pick product as system directed by SAP EWM using an RF device
• In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks assigned by his/her superior that are essentially related to his/her duties.

Qualifications - External Formal prerequisites for the position (e.g. training, experience, education etc.)

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pay significant attention to detail, self-motivated, ability to function as a team member in a group environment, and communicate with all levels of the department and organization
• Ability to lift, bend, twist, and move up to 60 lbs. repetitively
• Use team lift approach as a temporary measure for heavy or bulky objects
• Dexterity to assemble component parts and boxes
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner - Willingness and ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment
• Prior experience driving an Order Picker or Reach Truck, is a plus!
