We are currently seeking a [[Sr. Program Manager]] to join our team in [[Washington]], [[DC]], [[USA]].

Duties/Responsibilities

* Manages a large, complex set of IT initiatives. Project complexity may be caused by extensive scope, interdisciplinary involvement, short time-frames, large project teams, a challenging client environment, cutting-edge technology environment, high-availability and system performance requirements, multi-geographic team distribution, or all of the above.

* Drives successful project completion by coaching, consulting, managing and resolving issues, allocating resources, and maintaining team productivity and morale in high- pressure situations.

• Lead and Contribute to a team responsible for the design, development, and implementation of critical business applications.

* Implement system integration requirements related to client applications as required.

* Participate in definition of end user requirements of new and/or existing customer application implementation projects.

* Create and maintain system-related documentation, such as standard operating procedures (SOP), business requirements, process flows, data maps, configuration worksheets, etc. with all pertinent project information.

* Experience in earned value management (EVM).

* Leads and mentors other team leads and project managers.

* Initiates, supports and participates in negotiations with prospective customer.

* Plans, directs and coordinates systems analysis and programming activities.

* Provides guidance in strategic systems planning to project teams. The Program Manager is responsible for preparing incoming management for transition from implementation to business operating stage.

* Must have managed a program of 50+ resources with multiple task orders

Required Experience/Education

• 15+ years of relevant experience


• Undergraduate Degree or Equivalency


• Healthcare and Medicare Claims processing experience


• Experience in Systems Development Methodology and Agile Methodologies

Certifications & Skills

* Required Certifications: PMP, ITIL

* 5+ years' experience with Software Development and support project life cycle
