Application Engineering Summer Intern

YOUR ROLE

• Work on challenging engineering projects and support the Loctite brand at the Henkel Rocky Hill, CT headquarters
• Provide technical support, complete research assignments, collect data, and deliver reports for adhesive and dispense equipment applications
• Create sales support documents and technical demonstrations for the North American Adhesive Technologies group
• Participate in customer calls and become a technical liaison for the Sales, Marketing, Technical Customer Service, and Product Development departments.
• Potential opportunities to facilitate in-person customer visits
• Gain experience in manufacturing, statistical analysis, and project management

YOUR SKILLS

• Strong work ethic and the abilities to work independently on large projects
• In pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Engineering.Focus in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong academics and laboratory experience
• Leadership, teamwork, and customer service
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations in front of department peers
