YOUR ROLE


  • The Key Account Manager responsible for managing and growing Henkel's Industrial Adhesives business at Key Accounts through the development and execution of a strategic plan that aligns with the overall global account strategy.
  • Drive sales growth through the development of key partnerships in the customer organization in order to understand customer needs, identify unmet needs, and apply technical and solution selling techniques to capitalize on those opportunities.
  • Defines account-specific pricing, negotiates contracts, ensures fulfillment of commitments and implementation of commercial policy.
  • Steers and supports internal resources to execute account strategy and delivers account target performance objectives.
  • Analyzes financial KPIs and proactively steers key account business
  • Is responsible for timely and accurate admin. tasks supporting account strategy incl. sales forecast updates, monthly reports, etc.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Chemistry or Business fields is required.
  • 5+ years of technical sales/account management experience selling adhesives/coatings in the medical, power/industrial or electronics markets is required.
  • Applicants must already live in the San Francisco area or are willing to travel to the area on a regular basis (50%-75%)
  • Ability and desire to manage both internal administrative and project responsibilities along with specific key account support strategies.
