If you are a Product Manager looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Louisville, Kentucky location, you will be responsible for product and pricing strategy, product lifecycle management, and understanding the competitive landscape. This high-visibility role is accountable for driving top line and bottom line growth, successful product launches, and delivering effective sales tools. The Product Manager serves as the liaison between our customers (current and target), the technical teams, and the business. For the right candidate, this role can lead to career growth in marketing, sales, business development, engineering, or other functions. As a Product Manager, you will: 


  • Be a leader and a team player
  • Develop and execute product strategy
  • Build effective business cases
  • Represent the product to the market and our customers around the globe
  • Develop and support marketing campaigns

WHO YOU ARE:You are expected to be proficient in the following competencies: organizational savvy (maneuvering comforably through complex policy, process, and people related dynamics, persuades (use compelling arguments to gain support and commitment from others) builds networks (effectively builds formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization) cultivates innovation (continually assesses market potential of innovative ideas and solutions).

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in product management or a closely related field
  • Willingness and ability to travel to up to 10% to domestic, with occasional global travel locations, (post COVID restrictions)
  • Effectively communicate vertically and horizontally within the organization and outside the organization
  • Assemble relevant data, conduct analysis, and draw a conclusion.

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • MBA
  • Experience with process automation, valves, instrumentation, or sensors 
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in product management or a closely related field
