Job Summary:

The Program Specialist (Education Content Editor) will support one of the ACR’s popular clinical education programs by executing daily publication tasks necessary to manage the ongoing production of 10+ continuing medical education (CME) activities for radiologists.

A desire to serve volunteer authors and editors as well as customers by facilitating excellent CME activities should be top priority. The right candidate will possess strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and attention to detail. As an independent, self-driven, and reliable employee, you must be flexible and prioritize ever-changing scheduling demands.  

Responsibilities:


  • Provide administrative support for volunteer physician faculty/subject matter experts

  • Manage multiple virtual stakeholders and projects concurrently

  • Collect case submissions from multiple volunteer physician faculty, assemble and format publication first drafts, collaborate with faculty on content edits, and manage draft version control

  • Strategically manage public-facing websites and social media presence (homepage, product order pages, Instagram posts, and email marketing) with the goal to expand customer base

  • Oversee relationship between fulfillment/warehouse team and customer service team

  • Perform administrative tasks such as mailing drafts and printer proofs, distributing faculty certificates, data entry, etc.

  • Analyze data and sales trends and conduct research to inform business decisions

Qualifications:


  • 3-5 years related work experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related Business field

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to manage priorities and multi-task

  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies/software (learning management system, content management system, Smartsheet)

  • Motivated to improve processes with creative and streamlined ideas

  • Competency with MS Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with supporting educational CME activities or publications

  • Experience with Smartsheet

  • Experience with All-in-One Membership Managements Systems (AMS) such as personify or Nimble AMS/Salesforce

  • Experience with survey data analysis

  • Website experience with Sitecore and HTML

  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Bridge

  • Experience with web-based productivity tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom
