Department Overview

The Inside Sales team is responsible for directly selling Avtec products and services through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas for a pre-established set of accounts designated by Sales Management. The team is held accountable for reaching business targets associated with phone-based selling and other revenue-generating activities such as outbound calling, lead generation & follow-up, call campaigns on promotion launches, prospecting, and email campaigns.



Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to join our team. This position provides support to our outside sales team members by performing various sales activities working in harmony with the Sales team and other departments across the organization. ISRs also work directly with prospects, customers, and channel partners to generate business and support the sales teams goals.

Specific Knowledge & Skills:


  • Bachelor Degrees or at least 2 years' of experience in telemarketing, inside sales or sales

  • Industry knowledge of LMR (land mobile radio), enterprise software, software tools, telecommunications, and information technology

  • Ability to communicate Avtec's value proposition to prospects

  • Knowledge of commonly used industry concepts, practices, policies, and procedures in the dispatch communications console industry

  • Organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

  • Knowledgeable and skilled in Sandler Selling methodology



Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or 2 years' experience in telemarketing, inside sales or sales

Under 10%
