Responsibility within the Commercial Systems business segment for embedded software design, gaining deep application expertise, and delivering new technology through software development.

Major Responsibilities:

• Design, debug, and testing of embedded software for motor control applications
• Collaborate across Commercial Systems with refining a modular software architecture
• Documentation of software requirements and design
• Works with application engineering and hardware engineering to meet customer/system requirements
• Contributes to software design reviews across Commercial Systems
• Applies deep understanding of markets to development forward thinking technologies
• Translates customer requirements into embedded software

Required Education / Experience / Skills:

• Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
• 3 years relevant experience
• Experience with embedded software development
• Some knowledge of power electronics
• Some experience in providing customer support and dealing with challenging customer issues
• Skilled in organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating working relationships with all levels of personnel within and outside the organization
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
