Summer is here, and that means the Lago Mar Lagoon Summer Festival is BACK! 

5 STAR Event Services is looking for personable and professional security officers to join our team!  We provide services for many different events in the Houston area like the Lago Mar Lagoon Summer Festival.  

The Lago Mar Lagoon Summer Festival starts Memorial Day Weekend; May 28th and will last all the way until September 6th!!!

• Held every Tuesday - Sunday from 10 AM - 8 PM (10hr shifts)


• Location: 3240 Lago Mar Blvd, La Marque, TX 77568
  


• Starting rate: $12/hr 


• Must have a security license or be able to obtain one

Duties May Include:

• Enforce and uphold the integrity of public and private areas of the venue


• Monitor entry and exit points and control access to specific areas of the venue


• Perform routine search procedures including bag searches and screening of guest’s and their tickets, bags, credentials, etc. prior to guest entry to ensure that no prohibited items enter the venue


• Greet and direct guests


• Maintain open and smooth access routes of patron/vehicle walkways


• Receive and act on complaints from patrons according to policies and procedures


• Enforce all policies and procedures throughout the facility and report any suspicious behaviors or activity


• Aide in the direction of orderly evacuation of the building during emergencies

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The employee must also possess the following qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age


• Must be able to obtain a Level II Non-Commissioned security license 


• Reliable forms of communication and transportation


• Must possess excellent Customer Service Skills


• Good Verbal and Written Skills


• Must be Outgoing, Personable and Professional


• Enjoy Working in a Team Environment

Physical Requirements: To perform this position successfully, an individual must possess the following physical requirements:

• Must be physically fit and possess full mental dexterity with the ability to walk, talk, stoop, kneel, crouch, hear and see


• The ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time (minimum of 8 hours)


• The ability to lift 25lbs.
