This hands on leadership role serves as a partner with the HR leadership team and will oversee the optimization of HR technology programs in alignment with the vision of the HR functions business processes and policy strategies. This position oversees the timely delivery of HRIS projects and initiatives that support Citrix's strategic objectives as well as drive the necessary alignment between technology teams, business processes and a wide range of functional organizations. The successful candidate will have the ability to drive consensus and provide direction and is a hands-on subject matter expert capable of delivering the technology solutions required to solve complex business issues.

This position reports to the VP, Total Rewards. Location is US based (flexible within country).

Responsibilities


  • Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of HR technology solutions to meet global business requirements


  • Work closely with HR leadership to optimize HRIS capabilities


  • Ensure systems focus on global consistency, scalability and data accuracy


  • Leads and develops a collaborative global team of 14 HRIS professionals


  • Ensure efficient and effective implementation and use of HRIS systems globally, including integration of systems where needed


  • Translate business priorities into timely robust solutions addressing key business challenges across the HR function


  • Maintain strong relationships based on trust and transparency with primary business stakeholders


  • Negotiate appropriate trade-offs and ensure clear accountability, targets, timelines and deliverables for each major initiative


  • Ensure the security, scalability, reliability of business-critical systems which includes managing priorities and balancing demand in a rapidly changing environment


Basic Qualifications


  • 15+ years of industry experience


  • 5+ years of experience with Workday


  • 5+ years of management experience


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience


  • Experience enabling business users to drive utilization of cloud platforms


  • Experience developing, managing, and coaching teams


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience leading a global HRIS team


  • Prior Workday implementation experience


  • Understanding of Workday integration technologies


  • Understanding of HCM core business processes


  • Global system experience


  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fast change with an ability to adapt as needed


  • Experience and proven success in developing fit for purpose, technology-enabled systems and processes


  • Expertise with vendor selection and vendor management


  • Exceptional analytical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities with demonstrated abilities to think creatively and strategically to solve and answer key business questions/problems


  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, with a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with all levels of management, colleagues, and vendors


  • Well organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage shifting responsibilities in a dynamic, cross-functional teamwork environment


  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to multi-task and manage complexity


  • Ability to adapt to modification and changes to project plans, demonstrating flexibility to implement new strategies and tactics to accommodate these changes


  • Track record of planning and executing complex projects
