Position Description:
Under General direction of Director of Operations, the C.I. Manager is a leader in implementing and facilitating a culture of continuous improvement, while driving key business-wide initiatives in both the Irvine, CA and Goleta, CA facilities. This individual will assist the operation to ensure that continuous improvement and best practices are part of our culture. This individual will deliver Continuous Improvement training and run process improvement projects in support of the organization’s goals.

Lead company’s Continuous Improvement Program.
•Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring alignment with organization’s goals and strategies.
•Actively seeks and evaluates process improvements and translates them in CI projects helping to increase output and efficiency in the plant
•Train and mentor on Lean concepts to employees throughout organization.
•Communicating the overall program roadmap and periodic status updates to executive stakeholders
•Create periodic presentations on company implementation progress to management.
•Manage the relationship with all stakeholders, project champion/sponsor, and project team.
•Proposes and leads Continuous Improvement projects to achieve expected benefits and participates in and coordinates the development of CI project plans including assigning roles and responsibilities
•Develops reports at plant level of all Continuous Improvement activities
•Trains and coaches’ personnel on Continuous Improvement processes and methodology
•Operates cross functionally to assure information flow and understanding of overall process improvement direction and expected results.
•Review company’s business processes for enhancing effectiveness and benchmark with Industry Best Practice.
•Lead continuous improvement project teams on strategic projects.
•Delegate and manage project tasks to ensure that projects are completed on time.
•Measure project results (impact to business) using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques. Responsible for achieving OPEX savings goals

•Offer technical expertise to company on statistics, Six Sigma methodology, tools and practices.

Position Requirements:
•Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration is preferred.
•3–5 years experience with LEAN Principles and Continuous Improvement
•Experience in leading and developing teams
•Proven track record in driving cost savings and operational improvements
•Experience with driving transformational change and turn-arounds preferred
•Six Sigma Black Belt Certification required, or Lean Facilitator certification required.
