JOB FUNCTION - REQUIREMENTS -

Salary range $50K (negotiable based on experience)

* Able to search, support, gather and compile necessary information to communicate and analyze data.
* Work in a team environment to identify and solve problems that will reduce costs associated with defective parts and improve the overall manufacturing process.
* Responsible for updating procedures and work instructions to document the manufacturing process throughout the production facility.
* Interact with all departments within PPG.
* Assist in defect detection, cost analysis, and problem solving.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
* Able to function in conjunction with production personnel in all departments to manufacture parts while identifying technical issues and developing resolutions in a cooperative format
* Implement improvements in the manufacturing areas for process stabilization and repeatability based on observation and hands on collaboration.
* Work with area Operators, Inspectors and Qualified Operators to ensure BOO/BOM and Process Specifications are in agreement with production build requirements, ensure the proper corrections are made when these documents are not accurate.
* Demonstrate proactive attitude and actions to promote team work, responsibility and growth potential.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
* Requires High School Diploma and at least 5 years experience in Aerospace and/or Manufacturing Environment. Must be able to wear required PPE with, or without reasonable accommodation.
* Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English with all levels of the organization.
* Must be hands-on and willing to work on the shop floor to resolve scrap and rework.
* Good communication skills.
