Job Summary:


Summary:

Assists in the education and supervision of the family practice resident activities and continues clinical activities.

Position Responsibilities:

* Maintains minimum of 30% time in clinical sessions.

* Participates in night call and week-end activities and inpatient rounds.

* Participates in nursing home and home visits with residents and follow through with problems.

* Serves as role model by precepting and seeing patients in the family practice center.

* Responsible for required and elective curriculum as assigned.

* Serves as advisor to assigned residents ensuring evaluations and problem solving.

* Performs other duties as required.

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:

3-5 years family practice residency experience.

Required Education:

Individual should be possess and M.D. or D.O. and be board certified in Family Practice.

Training/Certifications/Licensure:

Must possess NJ license.

NJ CDS and federal DEA certificates.
