Novo Health Services, a leader in textile and linen management who services the healthcare rental needs in the mid-Atlantic region, is seeking a Regional HR Director for our corporate offices in DuBois, PA or Atlanta, GA.

This position reports to the VP of Human Resources and will oversee the planning, development, implementation and administration of all personnel programs for facilities under their responsibility including employment, compensation, benefits, employee relations and equal employment opportunity.  This role will also advise management in policy matters, making or recommending appropriate decisions and implement HR practices and policies to provide a balanced program.  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1.    Responsibility for achieving and reporting HR KPIs for assigned locations

2.    Develop and administer effective recruitment program

3.    Creates and oversees new hire orientation and training to foster positive attitude towards the  company.

4.    Conducts regular compliance audits to ensure policies and procedures are being effectively followed

5.    Responsible for union avoidance and positive employee relations programs for assigned facilities

6.    Prepares, recommends and maintains records and procedures for controlling personnel transactions and reporting personnel data within the HRIS

7.    Works with VP HR and other HR team members and facilities to share best practices amongst the group and facilitate continuous improvement in the system

8.    Identify training needs and recommend/create programs designed to meet company needs

9.    Serves as EEO specialist

10.    Works with TH back office to administer personnel/benefit policies and make recommendations

11.    Ensures compliance with internal compensation program

12.    Monitors UC claims and assists with appeals

13.    Develop and monitor performance appraisal program

14.    Coordinates safety program within OSHA compliance

15.    Monitors workers comp claims and coordinates claim flow with facilities and Safety

16.    Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures

17.    Ensure compliance to state and federal laws

18.    Exercises judgment within defined practices and policies

19.    Develop, implement and track OSHA and legally required training

20.    Active participant in assigned facilities and identify strengths and improvement opportunities

21.    Provide guidance in all HR matters; consult with VP HR, Safety, Legal, TH where appropriate

22.    Ensure discipline is consistent, warranted, and documented

23.    Selects appropriate methods and techniques for problem-solving

24.    Support offsite business partners and HR liaisons

SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS:

1.    Oversee the issuance of monthly reports (WC, frequency and severity, turnover, unemployment).

2.    Coordination of events, Presidential lunches, etc.

3.    Coordination and effective pricing and delivery of temporary employees

4.    Coordination of drug testing for suspicion as well as accidents

5.    Ensure monthly content for employee newsletter

6.    Oversee collection of wage and salary information 

7.   Classifies and reclassifies positions and updates job descriptions

8.   Coordinates all company communications/announcements

REQUIREMENTS:


  1. Minimum seven year HR Manager experience and HR degree or HR certification

  2. Knowledgeable of EEO law and general HR concepts

  3. Ability to maintain confidentiality

  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  5. Computer literacy

  6. Able to multi task and function in an independent work environment.

  7. Creativity

  8. Detail-oriented
