The accomplished Intensive Care Unit Director will be a part of a level II trauma center and be responsible for a range of obligations within this position. The Intensive Care Unit Director will direct the provision of nursing care while maintaining standards of patient care. The Intensive Care Unit Director is responsible for the quality of care their team of nurses provide. Interpreting policies that pertain to their staff members is a regular part of the Intensive Care Unit Director’s position. The Intensive Care Unit Director will advise medical staff, department heads, and administrators. Ensuring compliance with all organizational and governmental regulations is a part of the Intensive Care Unit Director’s job responsibilities.
