The Marketing Data Analyst's primary role is to mine, analyze and disseminate data to support our Customer Volume Management (CVM), Customer Segmentation and demand forecasting processes. This position will work closely with Marketing, Sales and Customer Service teams. The reports generated will ensure we are aligning our volume (in a constrained market) and our services with our key customers and help streamline our forecasting processes.
Key Accountabilities:
Work with Brand Management and Sales to develop monthly Commercial Print Sales forecasts
Maintain allocation tables for the CVM process as input is received from Sales regularly
Support customer segmentation process by updating files and systems with new rankings and perform sorts and analysis based on those classification assignments
Maintain data by customer and product
Maintain data and history for CVM, allocation and forecasting processes by various dimensions including product, customer, channel, segment etc.
Help ensure accurate forecasts by working with stakeholders to balance supply and demand
Provide information to Sales and other departments as needed to support CVM, allocation and forecasting processes
Assist with merging technical, market and financial analysis to provide management most appropriate information to properly evaluate strategic options
Responsible for quickly adapting to scenarios and understanding the impact to all departments and stakeholders
Ad-hoc analysis as required
Other responsibilities as required
Job Requirements
Minimum Required Experience and Education:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field, and/or 3-5 years equivalent industry experience
Minimum Required Skills:
Functional knowledge of business strategies
Functional knowledge of various systems, i.e. order management, SFDC, etc.
Thorough knowledge of product lines within business group
Computer literacy using tools such as Outlook, Excel, and system specific software.
Advanced skills in Excel are required (comfort with pivot tables, look-up tables, etc)
