As a Customer Service Account Representative at Cleveland Cliffs Steel in our Indiana Harbor office, you will be part of a team making steel that goes into products that are visible all around you. The Customer Service Account Representative position provides support and assistance to a specific customer group by investigating and answering customer questions and inquiries. Representatives assist with routine order processing; assist with the collection, analysis, and reporting of specific information to customer (s); gaining familiarity with account or functional customers over time.
Responsibilities
Building strong customer relationships with internal and external customers.
Possessing a working knowledge of plant processes, product characteristics, and systems requirements necessary for the completion of duties.
Order management, order entry, forecasting, and pricing.
Managing order status and expediting to meet customer requirements.
Working closely with account sales to manage customer accounts.
Developing knowledge of internal business systems
Completing daily tasks required by the department.
Minimum Requirements
2 years relevant work experience or bachelor's degree
Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong problem solving, planning and decision-making skills.
Personal initiative
Strong team player
Strong organizational skills
Effectively communicates with team internally and externally.
Preferred Requirements
3.0 GPA
Knowledge in SAP
Proven analytical capabilities.
Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams
