JOB TITLE: Inside Sales Representative -Strategic Accounts

LOCATION: TBD

DEPARTMENT: Sales

REPORTS TO: Sales

STATUS: Exempt

DESCRIPTION

To better serve our internal and external customer base, Nilfisk is seeking a Inside Sales Representative to assist our Strategic Account team with the sales development and management of "working" accounts and support of existing "buying" accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Inside Sales Representative's primary goal is to support sales development and improve customer experience by creating more efficient workflows from new customer acquisition through to post-sale support. The position will support the Strategic Accounts team by developing and engaging a pre-defined list of strategic account "working" targets in order to increase sales revenue. They will also help to support Key Strategic Accounts with day-to-day sales administration that may include quote proposals, order troubleshooting, and/or act as a liaison to the Customer Care department. It is an office-based position in Brooklyn Park, MN or Morgantown, PA.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Key Account Start-Ups


  • Coordination of customer requirements (working with customer and sales)

  • Collaboration w/ Expeditor of shipping requirements

  • Collaboration w/ Install SME of install requirements

  • Communication with the customer

  • Regularly scheduled startup meetings to discuss upcoming needs, potential requirements, etc., with CS Supervisors & Expeditor w/ optional invitation to Manager & Director

Account Development - Working Accounts


  • Perform research and discovery on target accounts, in line with Nilfisk Sales Process

  • Identify key contacts

  • Determine and execute regular call cadence, in line with marketing-approved campaigns

  • Record all notes and next steps in SFDC

Account Management - Working Accounts


  • Act as primary point of contact for account

  • Conduct strategic business reviews with customer to explore additional revenue opportunities


  • Provide quote proposals and/or complete RFPs

  • Collaborate with field sellers (RMs) as necessary to support site visits, demo needs, etc.

  • Record all notes and next steps in SFDC

Customer Support


  • Check inventory status for open opportunities and expected Purchase Orders

  • Provide order tracking to customers

Administrative


  • Generate all customer quotes

  • Hand off overflow of administrative items to team members as necessary

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's or Associates degree preferred

EXPERIENCE:

COMPUTER SKILLS:


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Capability to learn new software and systems quickly

  • Proficient in SFDC, Concur and able to run and evaluate iCube reports (or similar systems with the ability to learn quickly)
