The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company's risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.
The COO group includes the head of Operations, who is jointly responsible for line of business operations with each of the five LOB CEOs. Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions.
The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargo's risk and control infrastructure. These include the Control Executive team; Regulatory and Policy Affairs; Enterprise Customer Excellence; Sales Practices Oversight and Management; and Strategic Execution and Operations.
The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.
This position will join the Enterprise Data Environments and Transformation / Wholesale Data Office/ Wholesale Credit Data and Information Reporting (WCDIR) Business Support Team, which supports internal Wholesale Credit stakeholders by helping drive the WCDIR data mart work for its related systems and processes.

Leads complex enterprise-wide programs and collaborates on strategic initiatives for data governance, data quality and metadata activities that revolve around 1 or more systems of record supplying data to WCDIR
May act as a relationship manager for a line of business to help drive data strategy, remediation, hygiene and other various impacts to the data supplied to WCDIR and therefore our consumers.
Will partner with WCDIR technology to assist with design and deliver database architecture / design services, providing sizing and configuration assistance, performing needs assessments, database definition & structure, documentation, long-range requirements, and operational guidelines.
Provides consultation in process evaluations, performance monitoring, and statistics to senior management.
Leads analysis on complex multi domain remediation efforts and serves as single point of contact on low to medium priority issues.
Partners with groups and various levels of seniority across the firm to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution.
Maintaining the JIRA and tracking the technical change requirements

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality or data analysis demonstrated through work or military experience
5+ years of experience with end-to-end design and delivery of data warehouse applications
5+ years of experience performing data profiling
5+ years of relational database experience
7+ years of data analysis experience
Ability to dissect technical problems, analyze data, and recommend potential solutions
Ability to manage complex data collection and analysis activities including conducting extensive source-to-target mapping exercises
Knowledge and understanding of relational databases: SQL
Other Desired Qualifications
Ability to write complex SQL statements and able to articulate usage of concepts like CASE statements, Volatile tables, Joins (inner, outer, left, right), Nested statements, etc.
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
