The Honeywell Connected DevOps Team currently consists of passionate engineers who strive to demonstrate excellence in the field of Software Development. We are not only responsible for the deployment of the various industrial services, but a large portion of the job is to innovate. The Automation Engineers are aligned with the development teams to create shared responsibility, ensuring the proper tooling and automation is in place to measure everything.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside Sr. development and engineering team members to provide infrastructure solutions for products and services
  • Help create Infrastructure solutions, documentation, and drawings for deployed environments
  • Assist in the development and testing of a complete end to end cloud automation environment using configuration/auto-scaling tools
  • Assist in architecture monitoring, performance optimization and capacity planning of new infrastructure services to support a high-performance computing environment and ensure 99.9% uptime
  • Strategize with the Sr. team members to develop new technology initiatives with a primary focus on availability, supportability, scalability, security, and performance
  • Stay up-to-date with technology. Adapt and quickly advance your technical skill-sets
  • Establish and maintain working relationships across disciplines across the organization
  • Weekly presentations of completed work with Senior team members and team leads
YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelors degree and 2 years of related experience
  • 2 years of deep proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Terraform, Bash and Python
  • 2 years network connectivity proficiency
  • 2 years experience in Linux and Windows systems solutions, management, best practices, and performance tuning
  • 2 years of hands-on experience as an individual contributor building and testing cloud systems specifically Azure
