Manager - Technical Accounting Advisory Services

We are seeking a Manager to join our dedicated Technical Accounting Advisory Services practice of EisnerAmper.

EisnerAmper's Technical Accounting Advisory Service professionals provide our clients with technical expertise and insight that allow them to navigate a complex accounting environment without the need to add additional, and expensive, technical accounting resources in their organization. Our teams provide clients with objective, highly customized transaction and technical accounting services based on their specific needs and opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on a variety of complex technical issues including revenue recognition, accounting for leases, consolidation, business combination, share-based compensation, financial instruments, and accounting for income taxes


• Perform targeted technical consultation on audit and attest engagements with complex transactions


• Assist in streaming the technical accounting function through the identification of efficiencies and adoption of best practices to best service our clients


• Prepare technical accounting memos and liaise with client auditors as necessary


• Prepare financial statement disclosures and/or perform technical review of Form 10-K and 10-Q filings

Basic qualifications for the opportunity:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required


• 5 + years of related experience


• CPA is required


• Exceptional technical knowledge of US GAAP


• Prior public accounting or professional services industry experience

Ideally, you'll also have:

• Master's degree or other advanced degree


• Additional certification (CFA, etc...)


• Knowledge and/or experience with ASC 606 Revenue Implementation Services, ASC 842 Lease Accounting Services, and experience with complex debt and equity transactions
