Machine Operator (Thermoforming) at Sonoco Products Company in Plant City, Florida

Job Description:

While reporting to the Supervisor, as a Thermoforming Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating all manufacturing equipment. Safety, quality, productivity and strong work ethic are important to the Sonoco culture.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Set up and operateproductionmachine and ensure proper dimensions are set up.


• Responsible for thermoforming line, including light maintenance/preventative maintenance (including daily, weekly and monthly cleaning detail)


• Making process adjustments.


• Drive forklift and clamp truck experience.

We'd love to hear from you if:

• You have experience as askilled manufacturing operator


• High School diploma or GED is preferred.


• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow directions and troubleshoot repair and maintenance of extruder line.


• Basic computer skills a plus.

Additional Information

Shift: 6:45PM - 7:15AM or 7:15AM - 6:46PM, 4 days or and then 4 days off

Pay Rate: $16.49
