SUMMARY

The Continuous
Improvement Engineer is responsible for the execution of Electrolux's lean
processes which is our Electrolux Manufacturing System; continuous improvement,
standard work, problem solving, training and employee involvement. In
additions, lead and direct the change agents in the development and delivery of
educational programs, training courses and certification classes to maintain
best practices that align with the overall mission and vision of the
organization.

ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Lead
    EMS established standardized guidelines and principles by utilizing continuous
    improvement methodology and create an environment for never ending improvement

  • Develops
    and maintains business performance measures and conducts analysis of data to
    identify improvement opportunities

  • Collaborates
    with Management Team regarding process improvement opportunities within their
    departments

  • Responsible
    to lead, mentor, train, guide and support plant level staff in their efforts to
    deliver on the continuous improvement plan

  • Manage
    and direct a team of change agents to establish and implement lean
    transformation



Minimum Qualification


MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's
    Degree in Engineering

  • 2+ plus years of manufacturing experience

  • Previous
    leadership experience

  • Previous
    Lean experience


PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's Degree
  • Lean certification



PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties
of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate
computer keyboard and telephone. The employee
frequently is required to drive, walk and sit.
The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must occasionally lift and/or
move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust
