Sr. SEO Specialist at OpenText in Scottsdale, Arizona

Job Description:

The Senior SEO Specialist will report and work closely with the SEO Manager to help execute on-page, off-page and technical tactics for key websites. In addition, the specialist will collaborate with internal stakeholders across Product Marketing, Technical, UX, PR, and Web Content teams to help craft, structure and fully optimize digital content.

The specialist must be experienced in utilizing industry SEO tools to conduct keyword and competitive research, as well as monitoring SEO performance for key products and business units.

Requirements and qualifications

• 5+ years relevant experience


• University degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field


• In-depth understanding of on-page, off-page, technical SEO tactics

Skills and competencies

• Excellent web copywriting and content optimization skills


• Hands-on experience with industry SEO applications: SEMrush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog


• Passionate about SEO, and shows a keen interest into current SEO trends, best practices, and algorithm changes


• Experience in generating analytics reports and interpreting SEO insights to key stakeholders


• Understanding of UX design and its correlation to SEO performance


• Ability to lead with a mobile-first approach


• Knowledge of Google's Page Experience initiative - including Core Web Vitals best practices


• Experience with international SEO is a plus
