Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a commercial real estate Corporate Accountant in Minneapolis. We are seeking self-motivated and professional candidates to provide financial expertise to the real estate management lines of business. Primary responsibilities include full cycle corporate financial reporting with ongoing analytical functions, property level financial input/support, data management automation, and process definition and improvement initiatives.



Job Description


Some things you can expect to do:



  • Create, maintain, and audit internal processes surrounding real estate management corporate financial reporting

  • Develop systems and processes to drive financial reporting including adhoc analytical tools

  • Lead budgeting process to include timeline definition, data entry, and quality control oversight

  • Manage account reconciliations relative to corporate real estate accounts

  • Review monthly accounting activity, ensuring consistency and accuracy of coding

  • Administer employee and fee reimbursements as documented in the respective Property Management Agreements

  • Define processes and supporting documentation with recommendations for improvements

  • Champion ongoing process improvement and automation activity

  • Facilitate and maintain data management tools to increase visibility and promote proactive decision making

  • Identify operational trends within the real estate business lines

  • Support initiatives related to collaboration within the operational areas of the real estate business

  • Identify reporting needs and champion implementation process


Successful candidates will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related field of study and a minimum of 3+ years of related experience. CPA designation a plus.

  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel

  • Experience with Enterprise systems (SAP, JD Edwards), Hyperion / PBCS, and Power BI preferred
