TheAnalyst, Customer Team Mid Atlanticwill help analyze customer performance to inform and support sales team in driving business at assigned customers. They will have ownership of Customer trade plans, tracking and system inputs. They will host weekly / monthly / as needed connect calls with key contacts and proactively analyze customer performance to inform and support the sales team in accurately managing the business. In addition, the individual will be responsible for pulling customer data, inputting promotional plans into internal and external systems, tracking results, and performing analyses that provide actionable insights. This individual must be a detail oriented self-starter to ensure timely and accurate input of sales / customer information into data systems. This position will be highly instrumental in supporting the sales teams with administrative tasks, tool creation/enhancement as well as business performance management.

Gather data and perform analyses to support sales team in managing the growing business at assigned customers
- Own the weekly / monthly / quarterly / annually data pull(s) for the P&L and consumption based customer scorecard including volume, distribution, bump charts
- Deliver on ad hoc requests for additional sales needs regarding data pulls, presentation development
- Improve base and incremental forecasting through development and maintenance of weekly customer forecast templates (trade and volume templates)

- Manage promotional calendar / plans in XTEL system and recommend efficiency

and/or volume driving opportunities for all assigned customers

- Actively participate in Bi-Annual New Item Meeting presentation deck building and

presenting (Also includes preparing for internal reviews, Top to Tops, etc)

- Provide CBM insight on unique distributor ways of working together; to include

Natural Team Calendars, New Item/Assortment/Distribution resources, distributor

portal data and other resources

Input information for sales teams into systems

- Support sales on submitting sales plans into trade management system across all categories including customer specific systems
- Submit accurate and timely customer promotional contracts
- Input expected trade spend (total customer plan) for each promo into trade management system

Support sales teams with administrative tasks

- Provide support on contract development and new item submission
- Own and ensure deal actualization process

- Provide backup support for customer plan one-off changes when needed

- Provide weekly ad tracker for all Danone and competitive items at assigned customers

- Become master in systemically locating all corporate provided selling materials,

innovation updates, spec sheets, item images etc

- Coordinate and execute the distribution of product samples (new and existing items)

to assigned customer contacts

Provide Divisional Leadership with Monthly updates

- Utilize internal P&L, and syndicated data (IRI / Nielsen / SPINS) data to understand Year over Year changes in volume
- Summarize cause of change for key pack groups

You will be accountable for:

- Utilizing internal P&Ls, syndicated, panel, or customer data to analyze the business, understand business trends, and provide a point of view on solutions
- Tracking account-level performance and provide KAM/CBM/Senior CBM with adjustment recommendations for both internal and external KPIs

- Owning audit compliance at +95% accuracy
- Driving collaboration with deductions team and KAM/CBM in deduction resolution

- Assisting with customer authorization reports and grids

• You will have 0 to 2 years work experience


• You will have analytical skills and ability to analyze large sets of data


• You will be highly proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Word


• You will have excellent attention to detail / be a self starter


• You must be able to travel 10 - 15%

The base compensation range for this position is $60,000-$65,000.
