Operation Analyst-Custodial Operations
WEX Health provides services to various providers of Health Savings Accounts (HAS). In support of those relationships WEX Health provides custody services for HSA bank accounts on behalf of our Partner organizations through the WEX Inc. Non-Bank Custodian (NBC). The role is the Team Lead of the operations department which facilitates the processing of consumer contributions, distributions, credit card settlement, and investment accounts providing both custody services and reconciliation of balance and activity.
Responsibilities Include:
Processing day-to-day operations of the NBC
Reconciliation of financial activity
ACH processing
Wire Processing
Reporting
Operate Internal and external systems to facilitate transactions in support of:
Partner account setup and maintenance
Partner compliance with account opening responsibilities
Reconciling and moving HSA Contributions to appropriate Depository accounts
Reconciling and moving HSA Distributions to appropriated Distribution accounts
Reconciling and processing Consumer Investment Transactions
Monthly interest and reporting
Maintain operational relationships with outside vendors in support of:
Depository Banking operations
Investment Buys and Sells
Tax reporting
Escheatment
KPI Reporting and compliance
Manage internal and report on external Service Level Agreements
Provide input into the creation of new procedures.
Required Qualifications:
Experience of working within a large organization, preferably within the Financial Services industry (preferably 1 year)
Some understanding of the Custody Services Business.
Experience of working within in a control function or in close partnership with control functions (preferably 1 year) Experience of working across multiple business areas and/or functions to deliver results
Travel requirements: -extremely limited
