Senior Account Executive, Business Network Solutions

OpenText Senior Account Executives are Trusted Advisors to our customers acting as true consultative partners at the most senior levels. They sell value-based business solutions making them the best in the industry.

Develop and increase the value of our business with the largest enterprise named accounts in North America. As a Senior Account Executive, you will have a strong grasp of resilient cloud services platforms, data integration, latest in supply chain optimization, and an awareness of how a secure business network can benefit a global enterprise.

This role will leverage all the Business Network solutions to provide the Senior Account Executive with unmatched support, technical, business, and consultative expertise to deliver winning strategies and proposals unique to OpenText. These solutions will be based on a solid understanding of a customer's strategic goals, current environment, and business plans. Business Network's 's cloud-based data integration solutions will underpin an enterprise digital transformation strategy and help solve supply chain and data integrations problems both from within and outside the organization.

You will be successful in this role if you:


  • Are adept at prospecting/hunting as well as managing a portfolio of named accounts.

  • Can penetrate and understand large enterprise organizations and their business allowing to quickly identify opportunities for transformation and the stakeholders who would benefit from them.

  • Understand how customer investments in strategic initiatives are evaluated, funded, and get approved quickly.

  • Can organize and lead a team of internal contributors to accomplish what is required to get the winning strategy and proposal across the finish line

  • Work effectively with ease at an executive level within client and internal organizations.

  • Are a tenacious and results oriented self-starter with a strong desire to succeed and be rewarded accordingly

  • Have a passion for how technology can solve complex business problems

Basic Qualifications and Skills


  • Ability to professionally communicate and present with confidence and conviction.

  • Strong investigative skills including ability to observe, ask questions, listen attentively, and uncover vital information to understand customer issues.

  • Familiarity and comfort with current business tools including Microsoft Office, LinkedIn, Salesforce, lead generation platforms, and popular social media tools

  • Bachelor's Degree with major in computer science, engineering, or information systems highly desired

Background and Experience


  • Successful track record selling enterprise solutions for at least 10 years with a mix of a working understanding of Cloud, IPaaS, and/or outsourced services.

  • Solving complex business issues in Supply Chain and/or Data Integration for F1000

  • Proven experience in a consultative capacity with C-level customers

  • Involvement in financial analysis and justification along with problem-solving and negotiation experience

Requirements:

  1. 10 years sales experience in Supply Chain or ERP enterprise system sales required OR 10years sales experience in Managed Services Solutions involved with ERP, EDI, Managed File Transfer, business transformation, and API integration
