Description:

Performs a variety of key responsibilities associated with medical records functions, providing primary department and multi-line telephone coverage. Promotes and supports availability of accurate, complete, and timely medical records. Multi-task oriented with the ability to appropriately handle complex issues while providing excellent customer service to all (internal and external), including physicians, clinical staff, patients, reviewers, etc. Demonstrates excellent communications skills of all types. Works to promote a spirit of teamwork within the department and organization. Must stay knowledgeable of continuing changes and activities within the health system. Assists with department coverage to include all HIM duties. Performs final analysis of records.
