The opportunity

The Nominations and Scheduling team works closely with customers and stakeholders in a dynamic fast paced environment. The successful candidate will schedule natural gas on TC Energy's U.S. pipelines and storage assets and confirm activity with interconnect operators. This position includes a non-traditional rotational work schedule with some evening, weekend and holiday hours, and reports to the Manager of Nominations and Scheduling.

What you'll do

• Accurately and effectively schedule natural gas pipeline and storage capacity


• Confirm activity with pipeline operators


• Assist customers with balancing transactions at title transfer locations


• Regularly monitor storage, OBA, power plant, and park and loan activity to ensure service compliance


• Address various customer and operator inquiries related to nominations, capacity scheduling, confirmations, and OBA's


• Provide customers with training on transactional system functions and features


• Update operationally available pipeline capacity and location information as required


• Other tasks and responsibilities as required

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience


• 4 years of related work experience


• Must be flexible and willing to work independently on a rotational schedule that includes working some evenings, weekends and holidays


• Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and communication skills


• Ability to handle multiple assignments with varying priorities and due dates


• Functional utilization of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)


• Familiarity with interstate natural gas pipeline tariffs


• Working knowledge of the North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB) standards

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working with interstate pipeline transactional systems and scheduling natural gas activity for interstate pipelines and/or storage companies


• Working knowledge of TC Energy's US natural gas pipelines and storage companies
