SUMMARY

Responsible for providing processing support to service team in supporting existing accounts. Serve as front line support when Account Managers are out of the office and provide prompt, accurate and courteous service to clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Requests policy changes and corrections as needed, and processes the policy endorsements when received;

  • Prepares policies for delivery or mailing to clients;

  • Assists Account Manager with preparing submissions for market & rating;

  • Assists Account Manager with reporting and following up on claims;

  • Maintains agency client files according to agency procedure;

  • Assists Account Executive as needed with miscellaneous requests on client accounts including providing general administrative support to Account Executive and responding to all client inquiries in a timely manner;

  • Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);

  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

1 - 2 years related work experience

Must obtain valid insurance license within 120 days of hire

Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal

Encouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by Supervisor

SKILLS

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and effective time management skills

Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork

Ability to maintain a cordial and effective relationship with clients, colleagues, carriers and other business contacts

Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
