Innovation Associate

EmployBridge is on a mission to positively impact lives of low-income workers. Help them get a job, get to a job, stay productive and happy. In this mission, EB has developed an organic growth capability through our innovation office. By utilizing principles of human-centered-design and lean startup, several meaningful products and services are being designed.

Our innovation team is growing. And we are looking for a purpose driven highly talented individual to join the team and work on a small TAM to solve a large pain of our client and associate. This person has a T shaped profile with skills in business, user research, strategic analysis, execution and planning. They are able to zoom in/zoom out as needed. They are high energy, highly collaborative and take ownership of the outcomes of the project.

Responsibilities:

Incubate (shared with other team members):

• Strategic research


• Interviewing


• Note taking


• Synthesis


• Managing project assets like Airtable, Slack channels, Miro boards, etc.


• Preparing presentations


• Pitching to leaders


• Designing business model


• Opportunity analysis (TAM, SAM, etc.)

Accelerate (testing and building the product)

• Designing test plan along with learning plan


• Sprint planning


• Sprint review


• Building prototypes, data models, operating plan


• Project execution


• Results synthesis


• Presentations (designing, building)


• Research (surveys, interviews, others)


• Making decisions on the product definition, test outcomes, roadmap

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of work experience


• Natural business acumen


• Highly adaptable and action oriented


• Highly collaborative and take pride in shared success


• Looks for solutions constantly. Resourceful.


• Beginner's mind. Loves to learn and apply


• High risk tolerance
