OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

The Broad is looking for an Business Systems Analyst to support continuous improvement on the soon to begin replacement of Broad's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool. The candidate will actively partner with other members of the Enterprise Systems and functional teams to engage end users on translating business requirements, designing, developing, and testing solutions that deliver maximum business value. The candidate will be exposed to an evolving slate of systems which currently include: SAP ECC, SAP Business Warehouse, Huron Grants Management Suite, Jaggaer (SciQuest) e-Procurement, Concur Expense and Travel Management.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Lead efforts to evaluate and document key financial business processes and requirements through interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, use cases, and business analysis;


  • Collaborate with stakeholders, and partners to drive ERP configuration decisions which balance Broad's business needs with delivered functionality and supportability;


  • Assist in review, testing and implementation of system upgrades and enhancements;


  • Serve as a team member on a variety of projects including data mapping and conversion, learning software configuration and blue printing, writing specifications, helping design business processes, orchestrating user acceptance testing, supporting eventual deployment and go live support;


  • Troubleshoot production issues and develop suggestions for resolution.


  • Interpret reporting needs and guide end users in the creation of highly analytical and user-friendly solutions through in platform tools;


  • Contribute to the adoption of best practices by improving the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of processes;


  • Define and deliver end user training


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business management, or computer science


  • Experience as an ERP Business Analyst


  • Experience with ERP Systems financial modules


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills


  • Interest in learning new skills and enjoys troubleshooting


  • Knowledge of Higher Ed / Not for Profit Research Finance preferred


  • Familiarity with reporting infrastructure and tools: SAP BW, SQL Server Database, Sql Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Tableau, Workday, Oracle, ETL Process
