What You'll Do

About The Role:

The Operations Trainer is responsible to prepare, develop, coordinate and conduct on-the-job training for production new hires. This position reports to the Sr Operations Manager.

You Will Be Responsible For:


  • Train production new hires by using hands-on training techniques to achieve a safe and quality

  • Maintain training materials.

  • Conduct process observations.

  • Perform job break down and develop the "one best way" to perform the job

  • Gather and evaluate information from employees and management on previous training to identify

  • weaknesses and areas that need additional training

  • Inform employees on scheduled training and track their progress

  • Recommend training materials and methods, order and maintain in-house training equipment.

  • Support creating training scheduled for production department, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records

What We're Looking For

To Be Successful in the Role You Will Have: Any equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job, will be considered.


  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Associates degree a plus

  • 2+ years training experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Demonstrated and proven track record of conducting successful training programs

  • Excellent time management skills, public speaking skills, problem solving skills and both verbal/written communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office with strong powerpoint and excel skills

  • Strong presentation skils

  • Mechanically inclined with strong aptitude fo machinery

  • Exceptional organizational skills and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work with a team and have attention to detail

  • Knowledge about learning management systems

  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and assess/analyze data

  • Accountability - takes a no excuses approach to making things happen. Takes responsibility for own actions and results.

  • Teamwork - Actively assists to move the team toward the completion of goals

  • Communication Skills - Effectively expresses ideas and thoughts verbally and in written form.

  • Collaboration - Establishes collaborative relationships to achieve objectives

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Normal office conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
