Our newest Acquisition - Won-Doors headquartered in Salt Lake City has joined our Horton Automatics Division of Overhead Door Corporation and is looking to add to their Team!  Won Doors offer fire protection doors, security doors and durasound doors.  The name - Won-Door came about as cusomters said "Your doors are WONDERFUL".
 
The Position 


  • Under general supervision, administers day to day operations of local Personal Computer systems and servers. 

  • Provides integrated support, maintenance, upgrade and repairs of all computers for assigned remote locations as required. P.C. Installation and upgrades of P.C. software and network-based applications.  

  • Setup and configure Intel PC’s with Overhead Door approved software. 

  • Serves as second and third level support for PC related problems that the IT Help Desk cannot resolve.

  • Installation and setup of business production line solutions. 

  • Keeps up with latest hardware, operating systems, and off-the-shelf software packages and technologies. 

  • May function as technical project leader on business projects. 

Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned by direct manager.


  • Responsible for identifying and resolving PC hardware and software related failures and issues. 

  • Will ensure network and business continuity and effectively administer and enhance a Windows Workstation (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Win 7) or Server (2000, 2003, 2008 Active Directory) environment.

  • Install, setup, and troubleshoot various barcode and scanner solutions.

  • Monitor and maintain company standard nightly and weekly backup processes specifically LTO, DLT for all servers in Ohio.

  • Experience with enterprise backup and recovery systems (Veritas NetBackup or CA BrightStor and ArcServe) are required.    

  • Install, setup, and troubleshoot Network ID’s, Citrix ID’s, Sprint ID’s, Rightfax ID’s and other systems security for ODC authorized users. 

  • Must have experience with Ethernet topologies and protocols including 100BASE-T/F and 1000BASE-T/F, 802.3 which will be used for network support on connectivity issues.

  • Assist with user training on PC Applications. 

  • Manage and update PC images to maintain current software levels.

  • Update install software updates to remote PCs via SCCM

  • Responsible for the business printing / copying solutions including maintenance.

  • Request quotes and place order for PC equipment and peripherals.

  • Handles tasks for project installs and can help define project tasks and a tasks completion time.

  • Upgrades software components and installs OS upgrades as required.

  • Logs calls in Heat.  Tracks time in Heat and the ODC IT Project Portfolio.

  • Documents network and system diagrams, process flow diagrams, and backup / recovery procedures.  

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows (7, 8, 10) and Microsoft 365 installations is required.

  • Manage conference room A/V technology, including Cisco video conferencing equipment.

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 office products is a requirement.

  • Manage site computer closets and cable management. Must have the skills to trace cables from endpoints to switches and coordinate switch troubleshooting with Network Support.

  • A strong discipline working within a standardized ticketing system and documenting work tickets fully is a must in this position.

  • Will need to be team oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication

Education


  • I.T. Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Two years minimum with a College or University program certificate, or more than six years of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with some formal training.
