Job Description:

Overview:

• The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organizational tasks.


• Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• 
  Experience:Minimum of one year work experience in a public contact job, preferably service related and in a health care environment.


• 
  Required Education:High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.


• 
  Certifications:Must have completed a Medical Assistant training program and obtain and maintain certification as a Medical Assistant within 90 days of hire; or CNA training and maintain a current Arkansas CNA license. Must maintain CPR certification.
