Job Description:

Business Analyst

Trimble MAPS is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Business Analyst. The Business Analysts at Trimble MAPS reports to the Product Management team and works with Sales, Strategy, Engineering, QA, Design and Marketing. The Business Analyst supports the Product team in gathering business requirements, documenting functional requirements and analyzing reports.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the stakeholders and customers to gather business requirements




• Attend/Coordinate Voice of the Customer calls




• Present wireframes and functional proposals to customers




• Storyboard User Interface flows




• Produce concisely written and detailed business requirements




• Break down the requirements into Epics and Stories.




• Manage Epics and Stories in JIRA ensuring clear description and success criteria




• Work with Quality Assurance to ensure the test suite is comprehensive




• Document business process flows




• Analyze customer usage data to identify patterns and trends




• Reporting to Product Owner or Product Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or EE major with experience building software




• 1-5 years experience as a Business Analyst, Agile Analyst, Software Engineer, Product Manager, Product Owner, Project Manager or Scrum Master in the technology/software industry




• Excellent Verbal and Written skills




• Good presentation/communication skills for internal training, client interaction, and industry events




• Strong experience with Agile methodology.




• Ability to handle concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment




• Ability to adapt to schedule changes and re-prioritize responsibilities as Management sees




• Experience with SQL queries is a plus
