Provide expert leadership at the enterprise level related to vast quantities of data (including disparate data), enterprise analytics, statistical modeling, and initiatives. Leads staff in advanced in descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, prescriptive and ensemble modeling, advanced statistical techniques, use of database tools and/or other approaches in quantitative analysis of complex business situations. Creates and implements solutions from initial concept to fully tested production and communicates results to a broad range of audiences. Expert use of current and emerging technologies to evaluate trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to managements, via understanding of the business model and the information available for analysis. Expert use of all data types, statistical and quantitative analysis, explanatory and high- complexity predictive modeling and fact-based management to drive decision making. Mentors fewer senior staff. Leads cross functional projects and programs. Routinely works on multiple highly complex assignments concurrently.

The successful candidate will be a member of the Global Digital Marketing team responsible for analytics, technology and data management.

Under little supervision, this position plans and executes analytics strategy that supports the organization's corporate marketing strategies. The successful candidate will be an advocate for the Analytics practice at Global Digital and FedEx.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Prepares analyses, reports, dashboards and presentations to product manager, and senior management in a format relevant for the audience, including delivering face to face presentations to all levels of leadership. Additionally, conveys complex analytics in an understandable way to non-executive and executive levels (strong communication skills)
* Provides leadership in the coordination, setup and execution of transactional, behavioral and advanced analytics with recommendations that support marketing efforts involving Global Digital applications
* Delivers in-depth analytics and insights, using advanced quantitative and scientific approaches to business analysis related to marketing, in support of the enterprise's global strategies
* Help to drive the definition of a measurement plan for key performance indicators and the requirements to execute the plan
* Manages and leverages the Tableau reporting platform and Alteryx data engineering tool, working across teams to enhance the measurement infrastructure Global Digital Marketing programs on fedex.com, including overall leadership for data governance efforts, data validation, administering users & agencies and evaluating data integration opportunities
* Understanding web analytics, and familiar with Adobe Analytics tool suites, and implement tagging and generating dashboards
* Ensures data accuracy, ongoing data validation and resolves any data integrity issues
* Participating in the agile release train planning and provide analytics support to program team as needed
* Leads and manages vendors to execute standard reports, day to day support and maintenance of database and application
* Conducts basic and advanced analytics trainings to Global Digital teams to enhance digital professional's analytics capability
* Coach and mentor junior team members on analytics best practice, knowledge/skillset advancement
* Research and scan intelligence industry for best practice, technology advancement and adoption

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:


  • Successful experience work with agile release train


  • Experience with the use of business intelligence tools like Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Adobe Analytics, Session recording, tagging auditing, Microsoft Azure and PowerBI


  • measurement and analytics methodology, familiar with advance analytics like data mining, prediction, and AI through Power Automate, DataIku, Alteryx


  • Versatility and comfort in use of sophisticated technology


  • Excellent critical thinking, quantitative and analytical skills


  • Good problem solving skills in a sometime ambiguous environment


  • Demonstrated ability to influence key business decisions through analyses and insights


  • Ability to convey complex analytics in a understandable way to non-executive and executive levels


  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal


  • Prior experience with report and dashboard design


  • Constructs analyses independently and proactively


  • Analytical curiosity and comfort working in an evolving discipline



Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree or equivalent in a quantitative discipline required. seven (7) Year work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem solving, solutions implementation, operations analysis, marketing analysis, simulation development and/or predictive analytics. Demonstrated superior analytical skills with diverse analytics, data types and statistical software and applications. Outstanding interpersonal skills, written, and oral communication skill. Proven leadership skills.

Domicile / Relocation Information:
The domicile location is Collierville, TN, Plano, TX, or Pittsburg, PA.
Relocation assistance may be available based on business need.
