Job Description:

The Production Test Technician is responsible for performing electronic or electroacoustic tests, troubleshooting electronics to the component level and testing incoming materials (which have acoustic properties) and using that data to make selections for production.

Ultra Maritime Naval Systems and Sensors is looking for 2 Production Test Technicians to join our team. We are a provider of underwater and surface solutions for the US and allied government customers. Our products include undersea defense, acoustic countermeasures, sonar systems and radar solutions.

Duties include:

• Fabricates harnesses from wire run lists and operation sheets utilizing harness boards




• Meets all quality and efficiency standards in accordance with established guidelines




• Complies with all timekeeping, safety, Electric Static Discharge (ESD), material handling and calibration procedures




• Assist with production as needed

Required Skills:

• Associates degree in electronics, or mix of education and experience




• 2+ years of experience




• Ability to obtain a security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens

Desired Skills:

• Experiencein fabricating equipment




• Some assembly experience preferred




• Underwater acoustic testing is a plus




• Strong sense of responsibility




• Ability to use mechanical hand tools
