Job Description:

Position Purpose

This position will provide customer service to technicians working within the Defense and National Security Maintenance Repair and Overhaul unit. This includes but is not limited to Receipt, storage and issue of hand tools, specialty tools, and equipment. Position will also maintain and issue consumable items HAZMAT such as sealants and paints.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Issues tools and equipment and maintains a records of issued items


• Maintains inventory of tools, specialty tools, equipment, HAZMAT, and consumables


• Maintains min/max levels for consumables and HAZMAT, reorders and requisitions consumables, HAZMAT, replacement tools


• Receives calibration due notification and sends tools out for calibration


• Maintains calibration records for government furnished calibrated items

Minimum Qualifications

• Microsoft Office Skills


• Customer service skills


• Familiarity with aviation tools preferred but not required


• Ability to work effectively in a team/collaborative environment


• High school diploma or equivalency, valid drivers license


• Effective oral/written communication skills.


• Some evenings and weekend overtime will be expected during peak production hours and during annual inventory timeframes.
