Travel Specialist II at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee

Job Description:

The Travel Office serves the travel needs of all St. Jude employees and patients.In accordance with policies and procedures, the Travel Specialist II books, confirms and coordinates all aspects of travel for the hospital.Successful candidates domiciled outside of the Memphis metro area may be eligible for telecommuting/remotely working from home.

A CREDIT CHECK IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.

Work Schedule: M-F 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; occasional overtime

Other key responsibilites include:

• Provides advice and guidance to ensure cost effective use of the travel dollars.


• Maintains a current knowledge of all travel trends and hospital policy.


• Performs other duties as assigned or directed in order to meet the goals and objectives of the department.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Minimum five years experience in a full service corporate travel environment.

• (NL) Certified Travel Consultant (CTC) preferred


• Sabre experience preferred
