Your Role

This team member is a key creator of materials that support Gensler's B2B business development efforts. With the support of the marketing team, this position will work under the direction of senior staff and marketing leadership to write, design, and produce proposals, presentations, and other collateral used to help the firm tell great stories and win new projects. This role will gain a strong understanding of the Gensler portfolio, precedent materials, and project requirements to develop an informed approach to managing and creating brand-aligned marketing content.

What You Will Do


A powerful mix of project management and content creation. The Marketing Coordinator is a strong content and project management position on the marketing team, delivering accurate, consistent support on project pursuits, presentations, and reputation-building initiatives.


  • Working with Principals, senior staff and the marketing team toproduce proposals, presentations; research, design, write and produce all materialsin alignment with Gensler brand standards.

  • Manage scheduling, production, and delivery of marketing materials.

  • Actively participate in strategy/planning sessions.

  • Develop new materials as needed to support business development activities.

  • Manage multiple marketing efforts against frequent deadlines.

  • Quickly learn and understand Gensler's portfolio of work, practice areas and broad firm capabilities.

  • Maintains resources & information systems: ordering materials as needed, updating project documentation, resumes.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

The Marketing Specialist will have a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and how it intersects with design- leveraging skills and insights to generate momentum around new pursuits and opportunities. They will be fully immersed into the Health Sector, working to build new work and internal relationships-leveraging excellent project management skills, strong graphic capabilities, and an ownership mindset to help grow the Sector.


  • 3-5 years of professional experience; experience in the AEC industry preferred, but not required.

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing or communications.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and visualcommunication skills.

  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign is a must.

  • Self-motivatorwith strong organizational and intra-personal skills, and agreat collaborator.

  • Experience working directly with senior staff on business-critical projects withminimal supervision.

  • Ability tomanagemultiple deadlinesand diverse project teams in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Stronggraphic communicationand design skills are a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is a must.

  • The ability to maintain and foster positive team and co-worker relationships.
