PURPOSE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for performing daily package operations to prepare product for shipment.
1. This individual may generate and/or handle regulated (i.e. hazardous/non-hazardous) waste as part of this job.They must be disposed of in accordance with federal/state regulations
2. Follow secondary package requirements per process sheet and by looking up ES procedure in TSI
3. Labels must be checked in order, print, and process sheet for accurancy and completeness
4. Labels must be made from the order, assembly issue sheet, print, and process sheet in conformance with ES, ECS, and other product specifications
5. Maintain inventory of bags, labels, and printer ribbon
6. Position requires interface with Production Control
QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Math, mechanical aptituded
- Ability to read and understand prints, process sheets, and engineering specifications.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Ability to sit or stand in one position for a period of time. Ability to carry parts from assigned areas to the work station.
- Dexterity of hands, some repetitive motions
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
